Well known and well established industrial company, market leader in its sector, is looking to add a key senior position to strengthen its organic. They are looking to hire an Export Business Development Director Who will develop and manage its international sales business and the related sales department, directly reporting to CEO. The main focus is to plan and implement development actions in both existing and potential new areas and regions, manage Key Clients (local authorities/public institutions, general contractors and design studios), prepare the main business plan and target agreed sales volume and profit margins. The ideal candidate should have an Engineering/Technical bachelor’s degree and postgraduate qualification in Economics or equivalent. He/She has at least ten-year experience in comparable roles, as Export Manager or International Sales Manager, in well-established construction / contract / large plants / urban development companies. He/She has strong expertise in international tender management and deep knowledge of foreign target market regulations and procedures (Local authorities/public institutions/design studios). Fluent Italian, English and a second language, ideally French are pre-requisites, as well as availability to travel extensively. Additional skills required are: high standards, energy, social intelligence, excellent relational and communication skills to interact at every level, strong ethics, goal orientation in accordance with quality standards, team working, ability to manage and motivate reports effectively.
